On Monday I’ll be on the campus of Randolph-Macon College for the PCACAC Summer Institute conference.  The last 2 years I have been part of the faculty, and this year I am the chair.  I am definitely looking forward to working with my colleagues from different colleges and high schools in the Mid-Atlantic.  I think [...]

Well, I’m back from our vacation to the Outer Banks.  This year we stayed in Corolla (thanks for letting us use your place, Sal), and had a great time.  Really nice beach weather.  We were treated to a fun fishing trip in the Croatan Sound with to Capt. I did some good training rides during vacation last week in preparation for my C&O Canal ride for cancer and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.  However, today was a real test.  I rode 32 miles on the towpath and felt pretty good doing it while averaging 5:06/mile.
Only a month left until the big ride.  Still not [...]

Well, the answer is a lot.  This week has been full of good news for Stevenson.  For the Fall 2010 we announced that SU is adding football as a varsity sport.  We are currently working on hiring the coaching staff and will likely bring in 40-50 student athletes for football next year.  They will play a “developmental season” in 2010 [...]
