Yesterday we held our “February” Open House after rescheduling it twice due to the snow storms. It was a great day and we had a record number of visitors here at SU. The challenge of the day was due to a water main break in Owings Mills which left our campus without water all day. So, we moved lunch and the academic presentations back over to the Greenspring campus. I can’t thank the Stevenson staff, faculty, and students enough for helping to make this a memorable day for our guests…it really was a team effort from all corners of both campuses!
And, with over 900 guests in attendance, I appreciated the patience and understanding they had as we rolled out a new agenda during the day, worked with spaces and rooms we don’t typically use (by the way…have you ever seen so many people in the theatre as there were in the “yellow” group yesterday…wow!!!), and still gave tours at OM without running water. All in all, it was a successful day and I hope our guests left with a positive impression of Stevenson.
